Estate energy usage report
A year of electricity, gas and heat, drawn into charts, tables and plain-English notes for one site or a small estate.
Who it is for
Facilities leads, school business managers, housing officers and works managers who must explain last year’s kWh to a board, a landlord, or a finance committee.
What you receive
A dated report pack covering the agreed meters and fuels, with charts that match the reporting year you name, exception notes where readings are missing or estimated, and a short list of questions worth taking into the next period.
Scope
We work from your meter inventory, invoices, half-hourly extracts where you already hold them, and—when booked—an on-site walkthrough of plant rooms and intake positions in England, Scotland or Wales.
Practical facts
Timing. Four to eight weeks from a complete meter list, longer if several sites still need a first walkthrough.
Where. Desk work from Austonley; visits across the United Kingdom by arrangement. We do not require you to travel to Holme Valley.
Price basis. Quoted from the number of sites, meters and fuels, plus travel if a walkthrough is included. See Rates for current starting figures.
Next step. Send the site list and reporting year via the contact form, or telephone 07015748185.
Included
- Opening call to fix the reporting year, fuels in scope, and which buildings sit inside the estate boundary
- A meter and invoice checklist you can complete without specialist software
- Charts of monthly and annual use by fuel, plus weather-adjusted notes where degree-day figures are available for the postcode
- A written commentary on gaps, estimated reads, and buildings that moved in or out mid-year
- One review meeting (remote or at your site) and a final pack in PDF plus a printed set posted to a UK address if you ask for it
Not included
- Installation of meters, loggers or automatic readers
- Statutory certificates (EPC, DEC) unless separately commissioned with a qualified assessor you nominate
- Live login access to any hosted charting product
- Verification of carbon figures for a formal audit opinion
How the work proceeds
Prepared by Utilityfieldcore from our room at 10 Leicester Road, Austonley, with site visits by the reporter assigned to your pack.
Brief
We agree the year, the site list, and what “in scope” means when a boiler serves two buildings or a landlord holds the incoming meter.
Gathering
You send invoices, AMR files if you have them, and floor or site plans. We flag missing months before drafting.
Draft
Charts and notes go back to you with questions in the margin rather than buried in an appendix.
Review
A single working session to correct names, tenancies and any plant that was replaced mid-year.
Issue
The final pack is dated, versioned, and sent as PDF; print follows if requested.
What you prepare
Nominate one person who can obtain invoices and arrange plant-room access. Have the previous reporting year’s pack to hand if one exists, even if it was prepared in-house.
Limits we keep
We cannot invent missing months. Estimated reads stay labelled as estimates. Multi-occupied buildings need a clear rule for how landlord supplies are treated.
